Routing for internal services such as my.aurologic.com / api.aurologic.com will be switched over from old router core01.ffm3.de (Juniper) to new router core01.ffm3.de (Arista). The change is transparent, as only the child prefixes will be moved, we do not anticipate downtime to our own services. Customer services arent affected at all.

Maintenance - Upstream G-Core May 15, 2025 14:00-16:00 UTC
Upstream connectivity with G-Core will be moved from router core04.ffm3.de (Juniper) to router core01.ffm3.de (Arista). During the maintenance, upstream with G-Core will be temporarily disabled.
The changeover is necessary to align our ingress configuration across Digitalrealty and Equinix Frankfurt points of presence, as well as to get additional ports moved off router core04.ffm3.de (planned decomissioning).

aurologic will be adding Arelion (AS1299) as additional upstream at Digitalrealty FRA16. BGP Communities will be made available on https://docs.aurologic.com/network/trafficengineering until 15. May 2025.

Points of Presence Migration - Equinix FR7 Jun 2, 2025 10:00 - Jun 7, 2025 10:00 UTC
The FFM5 Points of Presence (Equinix FR7) will be migrated to increase power and space available for planned DDoS-Protection and Network upgrades, especially in order to align with our plans of moving certain links to 400G ports throughout 2025. With it's upgrade, FFM5 will also be moved to Arista 7508R equipment, requiring an migration of network ports connected to router core01.ffm5.de.

Tornado Datacenter announces a maintenance of the RR.A.UV02 B-Feed UPS. The maintenance requires power cuts on the said feed. Customers must ensure power redundancy within RR.A.R03 and RR.A.R04 cabinets rows beforehand. In case of questions, please contact aurologic.

Upgrade Interconnection - FFM3-FFM5 Jun 5, 2025 10:00 - Jun 6, 2025 10:00 UTC
We'll be implementing an upgrade of the interconnection between Digitalrealty and Equinix Frankfurt, increasing available capacity to 2x 1.6Tbps DWDM, enhancing the Frankfurt am Main Ring to 5.4 Tbps overall (FFM1/FFM3/FFM5).

DDoS-Protection - Upgrades Frankfurt Jun 9, 2025 10:00 - Jun 14, 2025 10:00 UTC
aurologic will carry out upgrades to it's DDoS-Protection infrastructure, replacing current hardware to increase mitigation capacity. New setup is powered by AMD EPYC Nodes, raising capacity to 6.4 Tbps for Ingress in Frankfurt. Due to the amount of nodes involved, upgrades will be carried out in a staged manner, transparently to customers.

FFM1 - Datacenter Power Upgrade Jun 12, 2025 08:00-12:00 UTC
The supplier of the FFM1 region (Tornado Datacenter) has announced electrical works in order to upgrade datacenter power capacity. During the upgrade process, the datacenter will operate in Blackout Island Mode, transferring electrical loads onto the emergency generator.
