Scheduled Maintenance

Rollout of flowtrack across Frankfurt Jul 31, 2025 08:00-18:00 UTC

Since a Q3/2024, aurologic has implemented and extensively tested flowtrack with selected customers in Frankfurt as well as successfully running the same with on-premise appliance customers.

flowtrack offers a DDoS-Protection advancement of stateful connection tracking, service discovery and in the near future advanced features such as tcp syn-proxy and usage profiles for machine learning.

We'll be rolling out flowtrack across our customers connected to routers in Frankfurt as well as establishing the same across further points of presence. Due to infrastructure restrictions and the complexity of the setup, flowtrack is currently required to be activated on request and limited to certain equipment. With the upcoming maintenance and router hardware changes, we're now able to expand the same globally.

Decomission G-Core Labs Aug 15, 2025 12:00-13:00 UTC

We'll be decomissioning upstream through G-Core Labs (AS199524). A substantial amount of traffic has been already shifted onto other peers, therefore we do not expect any quality related impact.

Update - We got confirmation our Arelion upstream at Helsinki will be ready till 18th July 2025. Once it's available, we'll start shifting traffic.

Scheduled - We'll be carrying out a network upgrade of our POP HEL1, which consists of:

- New points of presence at Digita Datacenter Helsinki (HEL2)
- Multiple 100Gbps wavelength to Digita
- Tier-1 connectivity with Arelion

No customer impact expected, the upgrade is done in parallel to existing infrastructure. Customers will be informed about upcoming network switchovers afterwards.

core03.ffm3.de - Router Isolation
Resolved - The issue has been resolved. We also figured out, that certain behavior may cause sflow stability issues on Arista equipment. A fix has been applied.

Update - It appers the issue is resolved after implementing configuration changes related to BFD. We'll keep the sessions monitored for the next hours and re-enable them throughout the upcoming night.

Update - Fulltable Sessions between core03.ffm3.de to core01.ffm3.de and core02.ffm5.de have been disabled for the time being. We're working on a fix and will re-enable them once they appear to be stable.

Identified - Due to a Juniper JunOS bug causing unwanted behavior leading to bgp session flaps, we're isolating core03.ffm3.de from parts of the core network at Digital Realty. The isolation itself does not have any impact to network availability, but should resolve a bug we're experiencing between router core01.ffm3.de and core03.ffm3.de.

Scheduled - We'll be doing routing changes for Arelion and GTT in Frankfurt, which means both parties will be moved to router core01.ffm3.de. The same was announced earlier, but couldnt get fully completed. During the maintenance window, upstream with Arelion and GTT will be temporarily unavailable being rerouted onto other upstream carriers, no impact to customers is expected other than route changes.

Investigating - There is a loop within the OVH network, which makes AS30823 unreachable from AS16276. You can check the same from https://lg.ovh.net, e.g. try with 160.20.144.56.

We have contacted the NOC at OVH to investigate, please note, this is not a issue at aurologic.
