Peering Upgrade - Piter-IX Apr 17, 2026 12:00-13:00 UTC

We'll be adding another port to Piter-IX in Frankfurt in order to increase DDoS resilience of the same, especially for sources from eastern Europe.

Router Reboot - core02.ffm5.de Apr 19, 2026 22:00-23:00 UTC

We need to reboot router core02.ffm5.de to carry out a hardware change. During the reboot, upstream sessions with Cogent und NTT will be turned off. Traffic will be rerouted to other upstreams in Frankfurt, no impact is expected.

Routing Switchover - core01/core02 core03.hel1.fi Apr 22, 2026 00:00-01:00 UTC

We'll be moving routing for egress over router core03.hel1.fi at HEL1. During the maintenance period, traffic will be rerouted over alternative paths for HEL1. With this maintenance, we're enhancing peering connectivity in Helsinki. No impact to customers is to be expected, traffic will be rerouted beforehand.

Upstream Deployment - Ti Sparkle (FFM3) Apr 25, 2026 12:00-13:00 UTC

Update - Physical connects to Ti Sparkle are being in process at the moment, we will re-enable the upstream in Frankfurt when those are being finished and report back here.
Apr 15, 2026 - 16:11 UTC
Update - Due to delivery constraints on the Sparkle side - given capacity involved - we have to move the deployment in April 2026.
Mar 12, 2026 - 19:37 UTC
Scheduled - We'll be adding Ti Sparkle (AS6762) in Frankfurt to introduce a new transit carrier with additional 800 Gbps capacity, no outage is expected. BGP Communities can be found on https://docs.aurologic.com/network/trafficengineering.

Implementation of additional darkfiber lines to Frankfurt at FFM1 May 15, 2026 13:00-14:00 UTC

We are currently expanding our connectivity in Frankfurt am Main by deploying additional dark fiber links to Digital Realty and Equinix. This upgrade strengthens our FFM1 points of presence in response to sustained network growth, currently reaching ~2 Tbps aggregate traffic.

As part of this work, a new, dedicated DWDM platform is being deployed in separate network cabinets. The system is fully decoupled from the existing transport environment to ensure improved scalability, resilience, and operational isolation. Once completed, each new fiber pair will be seperately lit with 1.6 Tbps.

Apr 9, 20:25 UTC
Scheduled - We will upgrade router core02.hel1.fi to a recent version of Arista EOS on 10th April 2026. This router primarily handles downstream connectivity and interconnections toward Digita (HEL2).

During the maintenance window, the device will be rebooted to activate the updated EOS version. Traffic will automatically reroute via alternative paths during the reboot. Customers affected by the maintenance of core02.hel1.fi will be informed seperately.

Apr 7, 2026
Completed - We were able to exclude false positive detections fully on the flowanalyzer components being connected to flowtrack when receiving symmetric traffic, across the past 24 hours. Since we didnt observe any issues, the same has been pushed to production.
Apr 7, 09:22 UTC
Scheduled - We're going to rollout flowtrack (session) receiver on flowanalyzer Frankfurt nodes, it has been already partially activated and currently runs at specific nodes already. flowtrack receiver is able to consume the session stream provided by our flowtrack cluster in Frankfurt, in order to avoid false positive threshold based detections.

Apr 6, 2026
Resolved - Database restored and integrity confirmed, service discovery re-enabled. Platform is normally functioning yet again.
Apr 6, 09:10 UTC
Update - We've reached ~364 tables down from ~1400 which are still undergoing recovery from split-brain. We will post an update once the database layer has been restored in full.
Apr 6, 08:59 UTC
Identified - The database layer is undergoing recovery after an event affecting the internal metro network of the kubernetes infrastructure hosting the same. To speed up recovery, we decided to temporarily turn off service discovery across the database (appstore) nodes. We currently expect recovery until 11:00 am CEST.
Apr 6, 08:47 UTC
Investigating - We're currently investigating an issue with the database backend of api.aurologic.com / my.aurologic.com causing temporary impact to API functionality.
